PiXTrix charts new territory in design flexibility within QuarkXPress. PiXTrix is a collection of powerful tools that give you the ability to: convert text characters to Bezier curve picture boxes, mask one or more graphics across any number of picture boxes, including those character shapes.
PiXTrix also provides a floating palette to interactively change the masking effect of selected picture boxes. Graphics can be cropped, scaled, rotated, skewed, and their boxes moved in real-time via the Picture Position palette. This palette also permits picking up graphics with an eyedropper tool and filling selected picture box shapes for true mix and match capabilities.
As if these tools weren't powerful enough, PiXTrix also includes a Starburst tool to convert spherical picture boxes to custom star and cog shapes, as well as a Tessellation tool for automatically dividing a graphic into component shapes and creating the necessary masks with a click of the mouse. This tool is a designer's dream come true.
